Our Vision

      is for everyone at Haven Shores

          to experience the unconditional love of Christ

              that strengthens and restores relationships

                  with God

                    and one another,

                  and compels us to serve our community.

Our Purpose

      is to worship God by

         • reaching out to our neighbors,

         • nurturing one another in the faith, and

         • training one another for service to the glory of God,

           resulting in changed lives.

Mission becomes a way of life when we reach out to people with the gospel, meeting needs in our own neighborhoods and cities and through global partnerships.

Jesus' parting words to his disciples before his ascension into heaven — "Go and make disciples of all nations…" — remind us that the kingdom of God on earth is entrusted to those who call Jesus Lord and Christ. Likewise, we are called by Jesus and empowered by the Holy Spirit to become lifelong disciple-makers in every land and nation.
