Haven Shores Community Church 

Nestled within the ten acre property, the Labyrinth of the Woods and surrounding nature trails add to the retreat atmosphere of Haven Shores Community Church.

A labyrinth provides a sacred path for reflection and meditation.  It reflects our life journeys, touches our sorrows and reaches our joys.  The winding path leads to a center and back out again.  Unlike a maze, there is only one path with no tricks or dead ends.   Concrete rocks mark the path and benches provide places for rest.   Come and walk the Labyrinth of the Woods with a listening heart, open mind, and receptive spirit.

The nature trails wind around the wooded property and offer a peaceful place for reflection and prayer.   Along the trail, mounted verses and benches add to the contemplative experience.  The trails begin from the Cathedral of the Pines and the Labyrinth of the Woods.  Each trailhead is marked by concrete rocks.

     Haven Shores is grateful for God's gift of our beautiful property and we seek to share our resources with our neighbors and the community along the lakeshore.   Refreshments, and an opportunity to walk the labyrinth and explore the meditative trails through the woods, will follow the dedication.   Please join us or come and walk the labyrinth and trails whenever you seek a time of retreat in a place of beauty.

The Labyrinth of the Woods is built in a clearing in the property.   A path from the northwest corner of the parking lot leads to the labyrinth.
